Hillside Heights Rehabilitation Center in Eugene, OR is seeking a Graduate Nurse Assistant (Graduate NA). Starting pay is $22.57 per hour. We offer Full-Time, Part-Time, and PRN opportunities to join a compassionate team within the Volare Health family.

You will provide direct resident care under licensed nurses, supporting daily living activities, vital signs, mobility, and nutrition while pursuing CNA certification within 120 days of hire.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Graduated from an approved Nurse Assistant (NA) training course within the past 60 days (state requirement).
• Able to obtain CNA certification within 120 days of hire and maintain it throughout employment.

Responsibilities

• Take and record residents' temperature, pulse, respiration, and blood pressure.
• Assist residents with ambulation, transfers, positioning, and mobility.
• Apply lifting, transferring, and postural support techniques.
• Maintain proper resident positioning and provide support as needed.
• Weigh residents according to schedule and document results.
• Assist with restorative and rehabilitative nursing services.
• Respond to resident and family needs within scope of practice.
• Collaborate with caregiving team to address concerns.
• Respond promptly to call lights and other resident needs.
• Treat residents with compassion, dignity and respect.
• Build positive relationships with residents and families.
• Ensure residents receive correct diet and nutritional support.
• Use feeding techniques while maintaining dignity and social interaction.
