Job summary

American University’s Center for Student Belonging is hiring a Graduate Assistant to help design, coordinate, and facilitate leadership programs that strengthen students’ sense of belonging. You will collaborate with CSB staff and student leaders to plan curricula, manage logistics, and mentor leaders across campus.

TheGA will support curriculum design, coordinate events, and contribute to strategic initiatives that enhance engagement and retention, working part-time with FWS eligibility for AU

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• Enrollment in AU School of Education graduate programs.
• Experience in student programming and/or leadership development.

Responsibilities

• Design and coordinate leadership programs for students.
• Plan and deliver workshops, trainings, and retreats for student leaders and organizations.
• Co-create inclusive curriculum and promote belonging among students.
• Support CSB programs and events through logistics and coordination.
• Mentor student leaders and supervise student staff involvement in workshops and events.

Education

Bachelor’s degree
