Job summary

The University of North Georgia is currently accepting applications for Graduate Assistants to support IESA faculty with labs, teaching or research. These roles will be assigned to GEOL, GEOG, GIS, ENVE, and ENVS labs, and may involve setting up labs, organizing materials, assisting students, and supporting faculty on research projects.

This is a part-time, temporary position for enrolled UNG students. Candidates must be enrolled in a minimum of six credit hours, and prior coursework in Geology,

Qualifications

• Must be enrolled at the University of North Georgia in the minimum of six (6) credit hours to qualify as a student worker.
• Previous undergraduate or graduate coursework required in Geology, Geography, GIS, Environmental Engineering and/or Environmental Science.

Responsibilities

• Support IESA faculty with labs, teaching or research activities.
• Assist with setting up labs and organizing lab materials.
• Support students and faculty on research projects.
