Job summary

Arup is seeking a Graduate Mechanical Engineer in Dallas to design HVAC systems for diverse built environment projects. You will model loads, perform energy analyses and contribute to sustainable design strategies while collaborating with clients, architects and engineers.

The role emphasizes Revit MEP documentation, technical communication and growth within a global multidisciplinary firm that values innovation and learning. A relevant engineering degree and internship experience are expected.

Qualifications

• Candidates should have a degree in mechanical, architectural, civil or environmental engineering and be eligible to work in the United States.
• Coursework in energy/thermal modeling and familiarity with Revit or 3D modeling is preferred.
• Experience with CFD and programming (e.g., Dynamo, Python, Grasshopper) is advantageous.
• Internship or prior engineering experience is desirable; interest in the built environment should be evident.

Responsibilities

• Design HVAC services for built environments with a focus on sustainable design.
• Collaborate with clients, architects and engineers to develop integrated solutions.
• Perform engineering analysis and modelling including load calculations and energy analysis.
• Document system design using Revit MEP and related tools.
• Communicate technical concepts to diverse audiences via presentations and workshops.
