Qualifications

• Recent graduate with a degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related quantitative field.
• Strong understanding of financial principles and accounting practices.
• Excellent analytical and quantitative skills with a high level of accuracy.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including pivot tables and VLOOKUPs.
• Familiarity with financial modeling is a plus.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
• Proactive attitude and eagerness to learn and take on new challenges.
• Must be a resident of or willing to relocate to Welkom, Free State.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
• Conduct financial analysis, including variance analysis and trend identification.
• Support the budgeting and forecasting processes.
• Help in developing financial models to support strategic initiatives.
• Gather and analyze financial data from various sources.
• Contribute to internal control procedures and ensure compliance with financial regulations.
• Assist in the preparation of presentations for management and stakeholders.
• Perform ad-hoc financial analysis as required by the management team.
• Learn and apply accounting principles and financial management best practices.
