Stantec in Brighton invites applications for the 2027 Graduate Programme as a Graduate Environmental Water Quality Consultant. You will join the UK-wide Environmental Water Quality team, delivering evidence-led solutions to protect and improve the water environment.

The role focuses on water quality assessment, data management and visualisation, modelling and clear technical reporting, with progression toward CIWEM accreditation and a structured professional development plan.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor's degree in Hydrology, Maths, Physics, Engineering, Computer Programming or related environmental field.
• Minimum A Level in Maths or Chemistry (or equivalent).
• Experience with data management and analysis is beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Manage, analyse and visualise environmental water quality data to identify trends and impacts.
• Support fieldwork and data collection as required.
• Perform numerical analysis and modelling of water quality systems.
• Apply source-pathway-receptor approach to understand pressures on water environments.
• Prepare presentations and technical reports communicating findings and recommendations.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams across water quality, modelling, catchment management and nature-based solutions.
