Job summary

WSB seeks a Graduate Engineer to join a growing team on groundbreaking projects across the United States. The firm emphasizes culture, collaboration, and forward-thinking ideas while delivering municipal and infrastructure solutions.

You will contribute to project design, coordination and technical report writing, with opportunities to lead teams and manage budgets as you progress toward PE within two years. This is a full-time, on-site role based in Minnesota with competitive benefits.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent from an accredited school.
• FE exam and registration as Engineer-in-Training (EIT).
• 3+ years of qualified EIT experience and ability to qualify for a PE within 2 years.
• Experience in Municipal engineering or related field preferred.
• Proficiency reading construction plans and technical docs; familiarity with AutoCAD Civil 3D.

What You Will Do

• Play a role in project design and coordination
• Collaborate with other groups/ disciplines within the company to deliver top quality projects and unparalleled service to our clients
• Perform design calculations, cost estimates, and plan preparation.
• Compile, write, and edit quality technical reports, feasibility reports, letters, memos and specifications for Municipal projects
• Plan, direct, and coordinate project activities to ensure that projects are delivered within prescribed time frames and budgets
• Opportunity to lead multiple work teams, manage projects, identify new projects, formulate an approach to projects, assist with the proposal process, formulate, track and meet project budgets and schedules, and market to and secure work from new and existing clients

What You Will Bring

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or similar degree from an accredited school
• Fundamentals of Engineering (FE) exam and registration as an Engineer-in-Training (EIT)
• 3+ Years of qualified EIT experience and able to qualify for a PE within 2 years
• Experience in Municipal engineering or related field is preferred
• Prepare, read and understand construction plans and technical documents and have a functional understanding of design software packages, specifically, AutoCAD Civil 3D.
• Candidates must have a valid driver's license with a good driving record
• Excellent communication skills and a strong work ethic
