Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Chemical Engineering or Mechanical Engineering is required.
• 1 year of experience in the oil and gas industry preferred.
• Strong work-ethic and motivated student with solid academic performance.
• Good organizational and communication skills (oral and written).
• Strong attention to detail and ability to identify discrepancies.
• Collaborate well in a team environment.
• MS Excel proficiency is expected.

Responsibilities

• Obtain project information from other LJA personnel as directed.
• Perform routine tasks using consulting engineering programs and procedures.
• Conduct engineering tasks under close supervision.
• Research, develop, and design equipment, facilities, components, and systems for oil and gas industry.
• Perform calculations and evaluations in equipment/system design for industrial applications.
• Use computer-assisted engineering and design software to perform tasks.
• Meet deadlines as per project schedule.
• Attend educational workshops and professional networking events.
• Attend training to progress career.
