Qualifications

  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

Job description

Halff is seeking New Graduates who will graduate in December 2026 or May 2027 for a Civil Engineer for a Graduate Engineer I, Transportation position in our Oklahoma City, OK location. The position will be for a General Civil Engineer interested in Transportation Design for roadway & highway design projects. Design civil engineering projects under the direct supervision of a Professional Engineer. What You Will Do

  • Design civil engineering projects under the direct supervision of a Professional Engineer
  • Perform schematic design work
  • Perform calculations and analysis for design projects
  • Assist in the preparation of permit applications and other regulatory documents
  • Coordinate with other team members, including surveyors and contractors
  • Attend meetings with clients and regulatory agencies

What You Will Need

  • Bachelor's Degree or Master's Degree in Civil Engineering or ABET accredited equivalent Engineering degree
  • Valid Driver's License and acceptable Driving Record
  • The ability to obtain an EIT Certificate within one (1) year
  • Great communication skills
  • Solid relationship and team building skills
  • Self-motivated and strong organization skills
  • 0 to 3 years of experience in Transportation Design for roadway & highway design projects
  • Experience in MicroStation and/or OpenRoads Designer
  • Knowledge of applicable roadway and drainage modules
