Halff Associates, Inc. in Austin, TX is seeking a Graduate Engineer I for our Subsurface Utility Engineering (SUE) & UC group. This entry-level role targets graduates anticipated in December 2026 or May 2027 who want to start their civil engineering careers with hands-on utility coordination exposure.

Ideal candidates hold a Civil Engineering degree (Bachelor’s or Master’s) and will have passed the FE exam within 6 months or soon after. Strong communication and detail-oriented work are essential.

Graduate Engineer I, SUE

Halff is seeking New Graduates who will graduate in December 2026 or May 2027 for a Graduate Civil Engineer in our Subsurface Utility Engineering (SUE) & Utility Coordination (UC) group in our Austin, TX office.

What you will need:

• Bachelor or Master's Degree in Civil Engineering
• Passed FE exam or will within 6 months
• Knowledge of MicroStation V8i and AutoCAD Civil 3D preferred
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Good written and verbal communication skills
