Job summary

HNTB is seeking a New Grad Engineer I to join our Central States office in Des Moines, IA. You will assist in producing and modifying design calculations, technical reports, engineering plans and specifications for assigned projects, collaborating with project teams to deliver accurate designs on time.

You will apply engineering methods, develop conceptual and detailed designs, and support quantity and cost estimates while gaining exposure to bridges, water resources and municipal transportation

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering required.
• Strong foundational engineering knowledge relevant to discipline.

Responsibilities

• Completes assigned work within the schedule and hours.
• Supports preparation and modification of project reports, plans, designs, and calculations.
• Assists in preparation of project quantity and cost estimates.
• Assists engineering teams with organization and administration of design files.
• Supports engineering teams with research, data collection, field investigations, and design.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
