Halff Associates, Inc. invites new graduates to join our Energy team in Fort Worth, TX as a Graduate Engineer I, Energy. The role focuses on collaboration within a large team, supporting design work across energy production, gathering, processing, treating, compression, and pipelines.

The successful candidate will hold a Mechanical or Civil Engineering degree (ABET accredited) and be on track to obtain a Texas EIT license within 2 years, with a valid driver's license and strong MS Office skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's in Mechanical or Civil Engineering or ABET accredited equivalent.
• Texas EIT license or ability to obtain within 2 years of employment.
• Valid Driver's License and acceptable Driving Record.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, Microsoft Project, and PowerPoint).

Responsibilities

• Work within a large team environment.
• Assist with designing energy production, gathering, processing, treating, compression, and pipelines.
• Design engineering projects under the direct supervision of a Professional Engineer.
• Perform schematic design work.
• Perform calculations and analysis for design projects.
• Assist in the preparation of permit applications and other regulatory documents.
• Coordinate with other team members, including surveyors and contractors.
• Attend meetings with clients and regulatory agencies.

Halff is seeking New Graduates who will graduate in December 2026 or May 2027 for a Graduate Engineer I, Energy in the Fort Worth, TX office with our Energy team. The ideal candidate will have proven experience in collaborative team environments, strong attention to detail, and a commitment to continuous learning. This position presents an excellent opportunity for career development, offering the potential for business and personal growth, and even ownership in the firm.

What you will do:

• Work within a large team environment
• Assist with designing energy production, gathering, processing, treating, compression, and pipelines
