Responsibilities

• Become knowledgeable in surveying and drafting terminology.
• Know AutoCAD Civil 3D commands and settings as per growth plan.
• Conduct property research; understand deeds, title commitments and plats.
• Review boundary metes and bounds descriptions.
• Review post-processed field survey data.
• Understand processes for production of surveying/design deliverables.
• Complete proposal exhibits, subdivision plats, utility and drainage layouts, and basic design sheets.
• Assist with drainage reports including hydrologic/hydraulic calculations.
• Familiarize with HEC-RAS/H EC-HMS as needed.
• Conduct quantity take-offs for design projects and cost estimates.
• Assist with site visits, meetings and document control.
• Comply with laws, policies, and regulations; adhere to company policies.

• Become knowledgeable with AutoCAD Civil 3D commands, settings and functionality with progression as provided in individual growth plan.
• Become knowledgeable in how to conduct property research, understand language of property deeds, title commitments and plats.
• Become knowledgeable with reviewing boundary metes and bounds descriptions.

Graduate Engineer is required to demonstrate computer literacy and proficiency with Microsoft Office software, have obtained a 4-year degree in engineering, have EIT certification or seek to obtain certification, and has 0-2 years of experience in civil related field.
