Job summary

Arup seeks a Graduate Electrical Engineer to design power distribution, lighting and grounding for buildings and infrastructure. You will perform short circuit studies, lighting calculations with AGI, and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop electrical analyses and reports.

The role involves using Revit MEP and SKM tools, engaging with architects and other disciplines, and advancing sustainability in projects while meeting deadlines.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field; EIT/FE preferred
• Interest in the electrical engineering industry with emphasis on power for buildings/infrastructure
• Strong planning, organizing and communication skills
• Ability to work in teams and meet deadlines

Responsibilities

• Design power distribution, lighting and grounding for buildings and infrastructure projects
• Perform short circuit, overcurrent, load and arc flash studies
• Lighting photometric calculations using AGI
• Assign circuitry for Power and Lighting devices
• Prepare technical reports
• Work with Revit MEP and SKM on projects
• Contribute to electrical calculations and reports
• Attend meetings with other disciplines and Architects to gain knowledge
