Job summary

Henderson Engineers is seeking a Graduate Designer to support the design of building systems and prepare technical docs under supervision. You will learn to use Revit and assist with calculations, while gaining exposure to industry codes and standards.

You will work with experienced staff, participate in site visits, and develop your skills through hands-on design and development opportunities within a collaborative, ESOP-owned environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in relevant field of engineering (mechanical, electrical, fire protection or architectural) required.
• Completion of the Fundamentals of Engineering (FE) exam preferred.
• Relevant internship experience preferred.
• Exposure to engineering design fundamentals and codes/standards.
• Familiarity with Revit and Bluebeam Revu preferred.

Responsibilities

• Drafting & design: Prepare design documents under supervision of experienced staff.
• Supports review of shop drawings for conformance to plans and specs.
• Assists with engineering calculations as directed.
• May support business development or pursue activities under direct supervision.
• May visit job sites for observation and learning opportunities.
