Job summary

The role can be based in Greenwood Village, CO or Phoenix, AZ, with hybrid or flexible work options after the first 90 days. This position offers exposure to design and construction of critical water systems and opportunities to build core engineering skills.

Qualifications

• Water/wastewater, hydraulics, and fluid mechanics courses preferred.
• 3.0 GPA preferred.
• Basic knowledge of engineering design principles and applicable design guides and standards.
• Basic industry knowledge and technology trends.
• Basic knowledge of construction and constructability practices.

Responsibilities

• Develops familiarity by reading and applying design guides, standards, and policies.
• Coordinates with multidisciplinary teams to support design and construction of water and wastewater projects.
• Participates in project coordination meetings and resolves design challenges.
• Performs routine research and recommends equipment/material selections.
• Prepares basic engineering calculations using standard methods.
• Assists with development of project schedules, cost estimates, and deliverables.
• Focuses on internal client needs while understanding external drivers.
• Develops knowledge of engineering software and digital delivery tools.
