Job summary

Westwood Professional Services, Inc. is seeking a Civil Graduate Engineer to join our Traffic team. You will support a licensed Civil Engineer, learn standard practices, and develop design skills using AutoCAD Civil3D, OpenRoads, and other software while advancing toward professional licensure.

You will perform technical calculations, draft plans, prepare reports, and assist with project management tasks. Strong communication and collaboration are essential for success in this role.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in civil or environmental engineering required.
• Engineer-in-Training certification or ability to obtain within 6–12 months.

Responsibilities

• Assist design of public infrastructure projects.
• Prepare reports, feasibility studies, and utility evaluations.
• Prepare drawings and visual aids.
• Create exhibits and design drawings using CAD/related software.
• Follow QA/QC procedures and standards.
• Observe construction activities and translate drawings to built products.
• Learn engineering processes and apply them to operations.
• Coordinate with agency staff and internal teams.
• Develop calculations in Excel, reports, and presentations.
• Other duties as assigned.
