Westwood Professional Services has a Graduate Engineer role focused on supporting a licensed Civil Engineer while learning our standard practices and local codes. A large portion of time will be dedicated to becoming proficient in AutoCAD Civil3D, with opportunities to contribute to design and entitlements.

The candidate should be organized, self-motivated and capable of collaborative problem solving to meet time and budget constraints.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in civil or environmental engineering or ability to obtain within 6–12 months.
• Engineer-in-Training certificate or ability to obtain within 6–12 months.
• Basic knowledge of AutoCAD Civil3D software.

Responsabilidades

• Prepare exhibits and design drawings using AutoCAD Civil3D.
• Coordinate with agency staff and internal teams on designs, analysis, and issues.
• Prepare entitlement documents for Tentative Maps, Vacations, Zone Changes, Entitlements, etc.
• Calculate quantities using Microsoft Excel and draft justification letters using Microsoft Word.
• Assist with construction drawings using AutoCAD Civil3D including grading plans; plan and profiles; construction details; storm drain, water and sewer facilities; signage and striping plans.
