Job summary

WSB is seeking a Graduate Engineer for our Municipal group in Melissa, TX. You will help design and coordinate municipal projects, including a wastewater interceptor project, and work with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality services.

The ideal candidate holds a Civil Engineering degree, must pass the FE exam and obtain EIT within six months, and has familiarity with AutoCAD Civil 3D. A valid driver's license and strong communication are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or similar from an accredited school.
• FE exam and registration as an Engineer-in-Training (EIT) must be achieved at hire or within six months.
• Municipal engineering experience is preferred.
• Functional understanding of design software, specifically AutoCAD Civil 3D.

Responsibilities

• Play a role in project design and coordination of municipal projects, including a wastewater interceptor design project.
• Collaborate with other groups/disciplines to deliver top-quality projects and unparalleled service.
• Perform design calculations, cost estimates, and plan preparation.
• Compile, write, and edit technical reports, feasibility reports, letters, memos and specifications for Municipal projects.
• Plan, direct, and coordinate project activities to meet timeframes and budgets.
• Lead multiple work teams, manage projects, identify new projects, assist with proposals and market to clients.
