Baird, Hampton & Brown is seeking a Graduate Civil Engineer to support municipal and private civil projects under the guidance of engineers and designers. You will learn technical processes to create civil drawings and progressively manage project scope under a Project Manager.

The role emphasizes building practical design skills, client interaction, and professional growth in a collaborative environment with a focus on quality and reliability.

Qualificações

• ABET-accredited civil engineering degree.
• Engineer in Training certification or ability to obtain within one year.
• Excellent interpersonal & communication skills.

Responsabilidades

• Analyze survey reports, maps, drawings, blueprints, and topographical data to plan projects.
• Plan and design transportation or hydraulic systems and structures using design software.
• Analyze and produce designs for stormwater, sewer, pipeline, parking, sidewalks, and roadways using design software.
• Prepare site grading and utility plans, coordinating with municipal parties; perform hydraulic calculations and permitting documents.
• Compute load and grade requirements, water flow rates, or material stress factors for design specs.
• Communicate project status with the Project Manager, client, and other stakeholders.
