Job summary

Westwood Professional Services, Inc. in Raleigh, NC is seeking a Civil Graduate Engineer to support a licensed Civil Engineer while learning our practices and local codes.

A strong focus on AutoCAD Civil3D proficiency and teamwork will be required as you grow toward licensure. Candidates should hold a Civil Engineering bachelor’s degree, an Engineer-in-Training certificate, and 1–3 years of civil experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in civil engineering and Engineer-in-Training status or progress toward licensure.
• Proficiency with AutoCAD Civil3D and standard software tools.
• Ability to communicate and collaborate with teams and clients.

Responsibilities

• Prepare exhibits and design drawings using AutoCAD Civil3D.
• Coordinate with agency staff and internal support teams on designs, analysis and issues.
• Prepare entitlement documents for Tentative Maps, Vacations and Zone Changes.
• Calculate quantities with Excel and draft justification letters in Word.
• Assist with construction drawings including grading plans, profiles, storm water and utilities.
