Free Baltimore, LLC is seeking a Master’s level student intern to facilitate CBT groups for youth and adults reentering the Baltimore community. You will balance clinical theory with empathy, guiding sessions and documenting progress in a structured format.

The role emphasizes practical, on-the-ground experience in social work, psychology, or related fields with a commitment to serving diverse populations. Schedule includes Monday and Thursday sessions in Baltimore.

Qualifications

• Enrolled in a Master's degree program in a relevant field (MSW, Psychology, Counseling).
• Understanding of CBT and its application to group settings.
• Ability to engage diverse populations and maintain professional boundaries.

Responsibilities

• Clinical Facilitation: lead CBT groups for justice-involved populations.
• Population-Specific Support: address reentry challenges, including recidivism prevention and recovery.
• Skill Building: help participants develop pro-social communication and emotional regulation.
• Documentation: maintain session notes (DAP/SOAP) for supervision and tracking.
