3Red Partners in Chicago is seeking a Graduate C++ Developer (2027 Incoming Graduate) to join our team. You will work on our high-frequency trading system at our Chicago headquarters, focusing on all aspects of the trading platform and collaborating with experienced engineers.

Ideal candidates are pursuing a bachelor’s, master’s, or PhD in CS or Engineering and will graduate by August 2027. You should have at least one internship with C++, knowledge of STL/Boost, Linux, and Git, plus strong

Qualifications

• Pursuing a bachelor’s, master’s, or PhD in CS/engineering, graduating in 2027 by August.
• 1+ industry internships in C++.
• Strong C++ knowledge including data structures.
• Knowledge of low-latency topics, Linux environments, and Git.

Responsibilities

• Implement, test, and deploy trading system features and tools according to business needs.
• Monitor low latency trading system performance and address issues.
• Collaborate with traders and developers to discuss performance optimizations and refactor implementations.
• Investigate improvements to the trading system and diagnose issues when needed.
