Job summary

The University of Rio Grande-Rio Grande Community College is seeking Graduate Assistants in the Athletics Department for the 2026-27 academic year. Responsibilities include supporting the coaching staff in managing collegiate sports programs across various sports.

This position provides free tuition, room and board, or $6,000 in lieu of room and board. Ideal candidates must be admitted to the graduate program while managing at least six credit hours.

Qualifications

• Must be admitted into the graduate program and take a minimum of six credit hours per term.
• Must be in good academic standing.
• Must possess a valid Driver's License.

Responsibilities

• Assist the coaching staff in administering and organizing the collegiate sports program.
• Help in the recruitment and retention of student athletes.
• Coach individuals or events as directed by the head coach.
