Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• Must be admitted into a Mount Mercy University master's program.
• Candidates who already hold a master's degree are not eligible.
• Valid driver's license required.

Responsibilities

• Plan and lead all reserves team training sessions.
• Develop and implement structured practice plans focused on player development and advancement to the varsity level.
• Serve as head coach for the reserves team, including training and match management.
• Lead and organize goalkeeper training sessions for both varsity and reserves goalkeepers.
• Assist with all recruiting needs, including communication with prospective student-athletes, organizing visits, and supporting recruiting operations.
• Assist with varsity team training sessions, match days, and other program needs.
• Safely drive and operate team vans for away competitions.
• Maintain a high level of professionalism, reliability, and accountability in all responsibilities.

Position Overview:

Mount Mercy University Women's Soccer is seeking a highly reliable, motivated, and organized Graduate Assistant. This position is ideal for an individual who is passionate about coaching, player development, and gaining hands-on experience while pursuing a master's degree.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree (required)
• Must be admitted into a Mount Mercy University master's program
• Candidates who already hold a master's degree are not eligible for this position
• Valid driver's license (required)

Preferred Qualifications:

• Previous coaching experience
• Collegiate playing experience
• Experience training and developing goalkeepers
• Strong organizational, communication, and leadership skills
