Job summary

Arkansas State University seeks graduates for Graduate Assistantships (GTA, GRA, GSA) to support teaching, research, and service missions while gaining professional experience in an academic setting.

GTAs assist instruction, grading, student engagement, and course administration. They work under supervision with a typical cap of 20 hours per week and receive mentorship to advance as educators and scholars.

Qualifications

• Graduate Students must have a cumulative GPA of 3.0 for GA eligibility.
• Master/Specialist GAs must complete at least six graduate credits per regular semester.
• Doctoral GAs must take minimum nine credits in regular semesters.

Responsibilities

• Assist with course delivery and student assessment.
• Lead discussions or laboratories and provide feedback on work.
• Hold office hours and support course administration.
• Work under supervision of a faculty instructor; up to 20 hours/week.
