Job summary

Prairie View A&M University in Prairie View, TX, invites applications for a Graduate Assistant - Teaching in the Computer Science Department. The GA will assist with teaching undergraduate courses and help students with learning and hands-on activities, under supervision of the department head.

Required: a Bachelor's degree in an applicable field and current enrollment as a PVAMU graduate student with SAP. Summer terms require minimum hours; other duties as assigned by supervisor.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in applicable field required.
• Presently enrolled at Prairie View A&M University for at least nine graduate semester credit hours during the term in which the work is to be done.
• Must be in good academic standing (SAP) with a minimum 2.0 GPA.
• For summer term, enrolled for at least six graduate or undergraduate semester hours or preregistered at least six undergraduate hours or nine graduate hours for upcoming fall term.

Must be in good academic standing (SAP) as demonstrated through your college; minimum 2.0 GPA For work eligibility during a summer term, a student must be enrolled for at least six (6) graduate or undergraduate semester credit hours during the term in which the work is to be done or preregistered at least six (6) undergraduate semester hours or nine (9) graduate semester hours for the upcoming fall term.
