Qualifications

• Graduate student status at James Madison University (JMU).
• Willing to work a consistent 20-hour schedule during Monday–Friday 8am–5pm.
• Strong communication, mentoring, advising or supervising experience, or willingness to learn.
• Marketing experience or willingness to learn.

Responsibilities

• Supervise Program Assistant student employees (Club House and SLI front desk).
• Provide direct student organization support, including advising with clubs and liaison with advisers.
• Assist the Student Organization Annual Registration Process.
• Manage Student Organization marketing, including newsletters and social media.
• Support the Start an Organization process and Explore Madison Committee.
• Participate in Destress Fest committee and Adviser Welcome/ Celebration.
• Assist in planning and implementing Student Leader Framework and Student Org Night.
• Other duties as assigned.
