The University of Montevallo is seeking a Graduate Assistant in Strength & Conditioning to assist in the coordination of athletic performance programs. The role involves designing performance plans, supervising teams, and collaborating with coaching staff to enhance the student-athlete experience.
Candidates should possess a Bachelor’s Degree and be admitted into the Master’s program for Exercise Science. CPR/AED/First Aid certification is required. Strong communication and teamwork abilities are essential.
Assist with the coordination and oversight of the strength and conditioning program for the Department of Intercollegiate Athletics.
All GAs work under the direct supervision of full‑time faculty and/or staff. Essential Job Duties are intended to be examples of duties and are not intended to be all inclusive. There will be other duties as assigned. The individual holding this position will serve as a representative of the University of Montevallo and, as such, shall promote a positive impression by demonstrating a collegial and professional customer‑service approach at all times.
Bachelor’s Degree and admission into the Masters of Science in Exercise Science program.
