Job summary

Central Christian College of Kansas is seeking a Graduate Assistant in Athletics for the Men’s Volleyball program, supporting the Head Coach and Athletic Director in McPherson, KS. The position is part-time, for 12 months, non-exempt, with responsibilities across practices, recruitment, and student-athlete development.

This role requires a Bachelor's degree and a valid driver’s license, and emphasizes mentoring, leadership, and adherence to NAIA/NCCAA guidelines while promoting CCCK's mission

Responsibilities

• Organize and conduct team practices, conditioning programs and competitive events.
• Instruct student-athletes with sound principles and expert skills related to the objectives of the program.
• Recruit qualified student-athletes who align with the community profile of CCCK.
• Work with Team Coach in compiling the annual recruitment plan for recruiting student-athletes.
• Responsible for meeting established recruitment and roster goals.
• Prepare individual student-athletes and team for games/matches.
• Assist in development of a competitive team program.
• Model integrity, respect and good sportsmanship at all times.
