Job summary

The Graduate Assistant will contribute to the Digital Media Solutions Department at the University of West Georgia, focusing on field operations, event production, and administrative support. You'll assist with live ESPN+ broadcasts, camera operation, audio/visual monitoring, and production management.

You will supervise student staff, manage calendars, and ensure smooth departmental workflows, with opportunities for leadership and hands-on experience in event production.

Qualifications

• Be admitted to a graduate degree program at UWG.
• Hold a Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution.
• Be enrolled full-time in a UWG graduate program during the assistantship period.
• Maintain a minimum 3.0 GPA and good academic standing.
• Meet eligibility requirements to work in the United States.

Responsibilities

• Event Production: support live event operations, ESPN+ broadcasting, camera operation and run-of-show execution.
• Administrative Support: calendar management, communications, record keeping, oversee timelines and workflows.
• Student Leadership: supervise and train student staff and coordinate schedules.
• Other Duties: perform additional duties as assigned.
