Job summary

Sam Houston State University is seeking a Graduate Employee in the College of Education, focused on Teacher Education Preparation. The role supports the Office of Educator Preparation/Student Success & Partnerships, handling inquiries from prospective students, data tasks, and event coordination.

The position involves data reporting, phone duties, and office operations, with flexibility to accommodate student schedules.

Responsibilities

• Support administrative staff in the Office of Educator Preparation/Student Success & Partnerships.
• Assist with handling correspondence to prospective students (email/phone) and inquiries.
• Assist with data collection, reconciliation, and data maintenance.
• Help plan and coordinate events, meetings, and conferences.
• Compile data for reporting and distribution within the department and school district partnerships.
• Assist with data reporting, analysis and presentation.
• Answer multi-line phones and route calls as needed.
• Maintain office supply inventory and assist with various office projects.
