Job summary

Carroll University is seeking a Graduate Assistant for Student Accessibility Services (SAS) to support testing operations and provide accommodation training. The role involves coordinating testing logistics, ensuring security and integrity, and assisting with animal accommodations within an inclusive campus environment.

The GA will work with the SAS leadership to schedule tests, manage materials, monitor testing sessions, and report on data while supporting university mission and student

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree is required.

Responsibilities

  • Support the daily operations of the university's testing facilities.
  • Coordinate test dates, manage room reservations, prepare test and testing materials, and ensure that tests are returned and properly recorded.
  • Monitor students taking tests and report any acts of academic dishonesty.
  • Maintain strict security protocols for all testing materials and ensure academic integrity.
  • Ensure that the computers have appropriate software loaded for efficient test operation and support maintenance and troubleshooting of testing center equipment.
  • Track data on types of tests taken, number of people, no‑shows, and prepare reports.
  • Administer accommodation training and ensure all external and internal training material is up to date.
  • Provide support to all handlers, animals, and the greater campus community through education, mediation, and guidance.
  • Perform other duties and projects as assigned.
