Job summary

Marshall University is seeking a Graduate Assistant (part-time, 10 hours per week) to support the H.E.L.P. program. The GA will provide one-on-one tutoring, develop study strategies, and assist with planning and scheduling sessions to accommodate individual student needs.

The role includes monitoring student progress, communicating with faculty, and assisting with testing accommodations and attendance records. A Bachelor’s Degree is required, with tutoring experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide one-on-one academic tutoring to H.E.L.P. students.
• Develop study strategies and personalized plans for students.
• Monitor progress and communicate with students and professors.
• Proctor exams and assist with testing accommodations as needed.
• Prepare End of Semester Reports for each student.
