Position: Graduate Applications Engineer (Electronics)

Our Arrow’s EMEA Graduate Program is a 12-month journey designed specifically for graduates who completed their education not more than 2 years ago and are seeking to participate in a practical learning curriculum. We provide a platform to work with experienced mentors to accelerate and establish a solid foundation to build and grow your career at Arrow. What you should expect from the role:

Arrow believes that the best way for you to grow is by giving you full responsibility for your tasks. As part of your personal and group projects, you'll engage in practical work alongside highly specialized experts.

The primary role of an FAE at Arrow Electronics is to provide technical support and expertise to customers. An FAE would contribute by:

  • Technical knowledge: Possess in-depth knowledge of Arrow’s products, services, and solutions. Provide guidance to customers on selecting the right components or solutions to meet their needs.
  • Problem-solving skills: Help customers troubleshoot technical issues and offer practical solutions that meet their requirements.
  • Design expertise: Assist customers in designing and developing custom solutions tailored to their specifications.
  • Product validation: Engage with suppliers to assist with product validation, ensuring products meet customer requirements and standards (examples include schematic reviews, radio antenna designs, pre-compliance testing, etc.).
  • Collaboration: Work closely with customers and internal teams to develop and deliver solutions that meet customer needs.
  • Key Point of Contact: Act as a liaison between the customer and suppliers, ensuring customer requirements are understood and met (e.g., supply of development kits, reference designs, guidance on software libraries, component selection).
  • System cost-down advice: Suggest solutions and techniques to reduce overall BOM costs or improve part availability considering lead times.

Requirements:
  • You must have a legal right to work in the country where the position is located.
  • You have obtained a bachelor’s or master’s degree in Electronics Engineering or a related field before October 2023 or within the last 2 years.
  • Business fluent German AND English (oral & written).
  • Sound knowledge of concepts in Electronics Engineering.
  • Good understanding of the latest technologies and market trends.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with proactive interaction with team and external stakeholders.
  • Ability to learn new platforms and systems with an innovative approach.
  • Flexibility and geographical mobility.
  • Creative, outside-the-box thinker who brings new ideas and is not afraid to share them.
