Job summary

Thomas Jefferson University’s Jefferson College of Nursing invites applications for a full-time graduate faculty position in the Adult Gerontology-Acute Care Nurse Practitioner program at the Lehigh Valley instructional site. This role focuses on teaching, student evaluation, and curriculum collaboration across classroom, simulation, online, and clinical settings.

Applicants must hold CRNP with AGACNP certification and an MS in nursing; PA licensure is required.

Qualifications

• CRNP with AGACNP certification is required
• Master’s degree in nursing or related discipline from an accredited college or university is required
• Earned doctoral degree in nursing or related discipline is preferred (candidates without a doctoral degree must be enrolled)
• Eligible for or licensed to practice professional nursing in Pennsylvania
• Demonstrated teaching experience in an accredited academic nursing program (prefer graduate nursing education)
• Knowledge of teaching/learning strategies, curriculum development, and student evaluation in nursing education
• Ability to work collaboratively with faculty, students, and clinical partners
• Strong communication, organizational, and relationship-building skills

Responsibilities

• Teach and evaluate graduate nursing students across classroom, simulation, online, and clinical environments
• Teach AGACNP program specialty courses and graduate core/ DNP courses as assigned
• Collaborate with faculty and program leadership on curriculum development and program evaluation
• Advise and mentor graduate nursing students to support progression and professional development
• Participate in program evaluation, accreditation activities, and reporting
• Develop high-quality clinical learning experiences with clinical partners and sites
• Contribute to governance by serving on committees and institutional activities
• Maintain clinical competence and engage in scholarly activities aligned with the faculty role
• Support recruitment and outreach activities for the College of Nursing
