Job summary

Loenbro is seeking an Operator Grader for on-site work in TX. The role involves operating motor graders and other heavy equipment to support underground utility maintenance, inspection, repair, and restoration activities.

Emphasis is on precision grading, safety, and productivity. The ideal candidate has at least 3 years of experience with motor graders or similar heavy machinery, reading grade stakes and plans, and a clean driving record.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Minimum 3 years of experience operating motor graders or similar heavy equipment.
• Experience on underground utility, civil construction, maintenance, or infrastructure projects preferred.
• Valid driver's license with clean driving record.
• Ability to read grade stakes, construction plans, and utility drawings.
• Knowledge of excavation safety and underground utility practices.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

• Operate motor graders and other heavy construction equipment for underground utility projects.
• Perform rough and finish grading for excavation and site restoration.
• Establish grades, slopes, drainage patterns per specs.
• Read drawings, maps, stakes, and survey data for accurate grading.
• Prepare surfaces for paving and concrete work.
• Assist in excavation, trench backfilling, and utility installations.
