Job summary

Loenbro is seeking an Operator Excavator to safely and efficiently operate excavators and heavy equipment on on-site underground utility projects. You will support excavation, trenching, exposure of utilities, backfilling, and restoration per project specs and safety standards.

The role requires coordination with foremen, utility crews, inspectors, and project management teams. A valid license and 3+ years of excavator experience are essential, with OSHA 10/30 and GPS control experience

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Minimum 3 years of experience operating excavators in utility, civil construction, or underground environments.
• Experience excavating around existing underground utilities.
• Valid driver’s license with clean record.

Responsibilities

• Operate excavators of various sizes to perform digging, trenching, grading and material handling.
• Safely excavate around utilities and maintain safe working conditions.
• Read and interpret utility locates, drawings, and plans.
• Complete daily equipment logs and required documentation.
• Perform routine equipment maintenance and inspections.
