Job Type: Full-Time

Overview:
Hartsfield Contracting Company is seeking a dependable and experienced Grading Foreman/Operator to join our site development team. This key role involves supervising on-site grading operations, ensuring work is completed safely, efficiently, and according to project specifications.

Responsibilities:

Oversee and coordinate grading crews on active job sites

Operate heavy equipment including excavators, skid steers, and dozers

Perform land clearing, grading, and surface preparation tasks

Maintain equipment and ensure a safe working environment for all team members

Ensure timely completion of tasks while upholding HCC’s standards of quality and safety

Qualifications:

Minimum 5 years of experience operating heavy equipment

Proficient in using excavators, skid steers, and dozers

Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage crews and work independently

Reliable, punctual, and highly motivated

High school diploma or equivalent (required)

Compensation & Schedule:

Competitive salary based on experience

10-hour shifts, Monday through Friday

Overtime opportunities available

Additional Requirements:

Must be able to relocate to or reside in the Wilson, NC area prior to starting work

Work is performed on various sites throughout Nash, Wilson, Pitt, and Wake counties
