Blythe Development Co. in Mount Pleasant, SC, is seeking a Grading Foreman to lead field operations for a heavy civil grading crew. The role reports to the Superintendent and combines supervision with hands-on trade work on excavation, grading, and site work.

You will oversee production, safety, quality, read drawings, coordinate schedules, track labor hours and equipment, and adapt to changing project locations and shifts.

Qualificações

• At least 5 years of SCDOT, commercial, and/or residential grading experience
• At least 3 years of supervisory or crew-lead experience
• Experience operating relevant heavy equipment
• Strong knowledge of excavation, grading, plans, specifications, safety, and quality control
• Ability to lift, push, pull, and/or carry more than 50 pounds
• Flexibility to work changing schedules, locations, and shifts

Responsabilidades

• Supervise daily field operations for a grading crew and report progress to the Superintendent
• Plan and coordinate excavation, grading, and related sitework activities
• Operate heavy equipment and oversee safe, productive equipment operation on project sites
• Read and interpret construction drawings, plans, and specifications
• Track and report labor hours, equipment time, and materials
• Ensure work meets safety requirements, quality standards, and project specifications
• Perform hands-on trade work alongside crew members as needed
• Adapt to changes in work schedules, project locations, and shift times
