Job summary

Prince is seeking a Grade Operator Foreman to lead daily grading operations on heavy highway and infrastructure projects in a field environment. You will supervise crews, coordinate workforce and equipment, and ensure safety, quality, and schedule adherence.

Qualifications

• Experience supervising field crews in heavy highway, grading, or earthwork construction.
• Strong scheduling, planning, and production management abilities.
• Ability to read and interpret plans, specifications, grades, elevations, and drawings.
• Excellent interpersonal, communication, problem-solving, and conflict-resolution skills.

Responsibilities

• Direct and supervise daily grading operations and field crews to meet project objectives and production schedules.
• Plan, assign, and coordinate workforce, equipment, and materials for efficient execution.
• Promote a safe work environment by enforcing safety policies and jobsite requirements.
• Review grading plans and project requirements to ensure accuracy and efficiency.
• Coordinate grading activities with project management, survey personnel, and subcontractors.
• Monitor operations to comply with specifications, quality standards, and schedules.
• Identify schedule needs, resolve conflicts, and communicate project concerns to leadership.
• Maintain project documentation: reports, material records, and time reporting.
• Support cost control by monitoring resources and productivity.
• Train and mentor crew members in grading practices and safe procedures.
• Operate graders and related equipment as needed to support operations.
