Job summary

Texas Materials, a CRH company, is seeking a supervisor for the Grading Crew to oversee finish and fine grading operations on construction sites in Texas.

The role focuses on coordinating crews, planning work safely and efficiently, and reporting needs to the Superintendent. Candidates should have 3-5 years of grading experience with excavators or motor graders and be prepared for travel to job sites as required.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years' experience in finish or fine grade operation with an excavator, motor grader, or related equipment.
• Knowledge of surveying and exposure to GPS and robotics.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate grading crews to complete work safely, efficiently, and on schedule.
• Operate equipment to perform rough grade, finish grade, and slope work.
• Inspect equipment prior to use and at shift end.
• Inform the Superintendent of material, equipment, and staffing needs to avoid delays.
• Complete all paperwork in a timely manner.
• Ensure grading work meets specifications and quality standards.
