Job summary

Parisi, a Walbec Group company, is seeking a Grading Foreman to lead field grading operations, schedule crews, and ensure grades align with plan. You will manage grading equipment needs, oversee repairs, and uphold safety, ethics, and quality on projects across Southern Wisconsin. Candidates should have at least five years of field grading experience and a CDL.

The Position:

Parisi (a Walbec Company) is looking for a Grading Foreman responsible for assisting with any and all aspects of efficient personnel scheduling, crew management, overseeing grading equipment needs and repair, and reinforcement of continuous quality improvement.

Requirements:
  • Valid Driver's License and satisfactory driving record.

  • A CDL is required.

  • Capable of reading and interpreting plans/specifications with the ability to establish grades per plan.

  • High School diploma or GED equivalent is preferred.

  • Must be punctual, dependable and have a high ethical standard for personal and business conduct.

  • Must be self-directed and motivated; able to manage multiple conflicting and changing priorities.

  • Have the ability to be trusted with confidential information and observe anti-trust laws and regulations.

  • Have the ability to work varied hours including nights, early mornings, and weekends as needed.

  • Be able to tolerate and work in variable weather conditions, and work in dirty and dusty environments.

  • Member of the appropriate trade union or willingness to become a union member are required. Union membership is not required prior to employment. Our Human Resources Department is able to assist in that process as needed.

  • Minimum of 5 years' experience at the field level, in Grading Operations.

  • Prior experience as a Foreman.

  • Working knowledge of CMV guidelines and regulations.
