Job summary

Walbec Group seeks a Grading Foreman in Wisconsin to manage field grading crews, schedule work, and ensure smooth operation of grading equipment per project plans. You will coordinate with site teams to maintain safety, quality, and on‑time performance on commercial/industrial sites.

The ideal candidate has at least 5 years in grading operations, a valid CDL, and the ability to work varying hours and conditions in the Midwest.

Qualifications

• Valid driver's license with satisfactory record.
• CDL is required for operation of heavy equipment.
• Ability to read plans/specifications and set grades accordingly.
• Must be self-directed and able to manage changing priorities.

Responsibilities

• Oversee scheduling and crew management for grading operations.
• Supervise grading equipment needs and repairs as required.
• Support continuous quality improvement across field activities.

The Position

Parisi (a Walbec Company) is looking for a Grading Foreman responsible for assisting with any and all aspects of efficient personnel scheduling, crew management, overseeing grading equipment needs and repair, and reinforcement of continuous quality improvement.

Requirements

• Valid Driver's License and satisfactory driving record.
• A CDL is required.
• Capable of reading and interpreting plans/specifications with the ability to establish grades per plan.
• High School diploma or GED equivalent is preferred.
• Must be punctual, dependable and have a high ethical standard for personal and business conduct.
• Must be self-directed and motivated; able to manage multiple conflicting and changing priorities.
• Have the ability to be trusted with confidential information and observe anti-trust laws and regulations.
• Have the ability to work varied hours including nights, early mornings, and weekends as needed.
• Be able to tolerate and work in variable weather conditions, and work in dirty and dusty environments.
• Member of the appropriate trade union or willingness to become a union member are required.
• Union membership is not required prior to employment. Our Human Resources Department is able to assist in that process as needed.
• Minimum of 5 years' experience at the field level, in Grading Operations.
• Prior experience as a Foreman.
• Working knowledge of CMV guidelines and regulations.
