Position Summary

As a Grading/excavation laborer, you will help prepare job sites by assisting with earthmoving tasks, trenching, and general excavation support under the direction of the crew lead. This role is ideal for someone who is safety-focused, dependable, and comfortable working outdoors in a fast-paced environment.

You will contribute to building strong foundations for construction projects by supporting efficient site development, accurate work progress, and clean job sites from start to finish.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist with grading and excavation tasks, including moving materials and supporting setup and cleanup activities.

• Perform basic site preparation work, such as clearing debris, leveling ground, and helping maintain proper site conditions.

• Support safe operation of equipment and tools as assigned, following established procedures and crew direction.

• Help with trenching and backfilling activities, ensuring work is completed to job requirements and timelines.

• Maintain a clean, organized work area and report hazards, issues, or delays to the supervisor promptly.

Required Qualifications

• Ability to perform physically demanding labor, including lifting, digging, and working in outdoor conditions.

Compensation

Hourly rate: $15.00 - $17.00
