Job summary

Goodwill Industries Of Dallas Inc is seeking a Shoes Processor to sort donated shoes, price merchandise, and ensure quality control before placing items on the floor.

You will transport items to sales areas, stock shoe fixtures, rotate merchandise, and display according to guidelines while keeping the processing area clean and safe. Prior retail or stock handling experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Experience in retail and stock handling preferred.
• Ability to stand for long periods of time.
• Attention to detail and accuracy in pricing and display.

Responsibilities

• Sort donated shoes and place into proper containers with attention to quality.
• Price merchandise using the Goodwill price guide.
• Rotate stock and bring merchandise to sales floor in a timely manner.
• Keep the production area clean, neat, and safe.

SUMMARYUnder the direction of the Team Leader and Production Team Leader, is responsible for sorting, pricing, quality selection of donated shoes, transporting donated shoes to sales floor, stocking shoe fixtures, rotating merchandise, displaying donated shoes according to merchandising guidelines, and maintain processing area clean, neat, and safe condition.ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS/DUTIES1. Clean and sort donated shoes into proper containers placing non-sellable items into outlet containers.2. Pricing merchandise using Goodwill price guide.3. Rotate stock on a timely basis and in accordance with established procedures; bring merchandise to sales in a timely manner.4. Keep the production area clean, neat, and safe.5. Maintain a well-groomed appearance and appropriate dress code including name badge.ADDITIONAL FUNCTIONS/DUTIES1. Assist in textile and miscel power hour process per established procedure.2. Responsible for performing their assigned duties within the framework of our Core Principles.3. Attending in-service and related training as assigned by Team Leader.4.
