Job summary

The Walsh Group is seeking a Grader Operator for the Central Water Group/Kyle FM 1626 Pump Station Improvements project in Kyle, Texas. The operator will run a grader on site to construct, maintain, or repair highways and heavy civil structures, with flexibility to assist in other site duties as needed.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of operating experience preferred.
• Lift up to 50 lbs; able to work in adverse weather.
• Must be able to comply with all safety policies and procedures; communicate effectively with co-workers and supervisors to ensure projects are completed properly.
• Possess a strong work ethic and desire to learn.
• Requires good manual dexterity; standing, bending, kneeling or sitting for long periods.
• Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screening.

Responsibilities

• Operates a Grader to complete tasks such as grading and move and/or transport materials such as dirt, rocks, and other types of aggregate
• Must have knowledge of operating procedures as it pertains to loading and unloading materials
• May oil, grease, service, and make normal maintenance adjustments on equipment; perform daily safety and maintenance checks; complete paperwork and other documentation as needed
• May perform other related duties as required
