Job summary

Archer Western Construction is hiring a Common Laborer for the Central Water Group/Kyle FM 1626 Pump Station Improvements in Kyle, Texas. You will perform physical labor on construction sites, operate hand and power tools, and assist with site preparation and cleanup. The role offers opportunities to work across our U.S.

divisions and advance professionally. Candidates should be able to lift up to 50 lbs, pass a pre-employment drug screen, and comply with safety policies.

Qualifications

• 1 year verifiable construction experience preferred
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs; may be required to work in adverse weather conditions
• Must be able to pass pre-employment drug screening
• Requires the ability to climb and maintain balance on scaffold/ladder
• Requires good manual dexterity; standing, bending, kneeling or sitting for long periods

Responsibilities

• Perform tasks including physical labor as instructed by supervisor
• Work with crew members and operate a variety of hand and power tools
• Clean and prepare construction sites as needed
• Load and unload construction supplies around the worksite manually and with equipment
