Job summary

Weld County Government in Gill, CO seeks a skilled equipment operator to work on county gravel roads. You will operate a motor grader and other heavy equipment to perform maintenance and snow removal with an emphasis on safety and efficiency.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Two years of heavy or light equipment operation including motor grader experience.
• CDL Class A with tanker endorsement or ability to obtain within time frame.
• MSHA certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Operate construction equipment for gravel road maintenance and snow removal; 80% field work.
• Perform administrative duties and data recording; 10% administration.
• Respond to emergencies and assist with weather-related operations; 10% other duties.
