Qualifications

• 3-5 years grading related experience.
• Knowledge of survey controls and grade checking.
• Proficiency with Intelligent GPS machine grade controls is preferred.
• Competency in reading civil construction plans.
• Strong preference for DOT/roadway experience.
• Experience with excavation, linear grading, drainage, and soil stabilization.

Responsibilities

• Direct grading activities, including clearing, excavation, and earthwork.
• Ensure accurate planning and execution of work, personnel, and equipment.
• Inspect work-in-progress to ensure conformity to specifications.
• Plan and coordinate Foreman’s responsibilities.
